Who are Friends of Prayer?, we are a group of Christians from all denominations who pray for fellow brothers and sisters which need our Lords help. Simplicity is our aim. No long theological journeys, just the trust our Lord asks of us. For some people prayer can be a difficult path to follow, some have not yet found the way and need a little help along the road. We are more than willing to rest your prayer request with the Lord. All requests are kept between praying members and the Lord Jesus, never ever will names or problems go further than the prayer rooms. No one needs to leave names if that is your wish, initials are fine. We don’t need two pages of request to pray for you, a couple of lines will be fine. The format we use, leaves all control to where it should be, our Lord Jesus. The name with the problem is spoken for, and then we rest the request with Jesus. We then sit in silence and wait for the Holy Spirit to move further comment if any.

Prayers are placed in one of the following categories; those in need of urgent prayer; those who wish for regular prayer; world and domestic problems and a big box for thank you Lord and we have a comments box if you wish to chat to us.

Urgent prayers are dealt with as soon as the mail is opened, the prayer master will also send them on to other members within minutes of reading them. A list of prayers is emailed to praying members every week. Please remember we are not a 24 hour site some of us have full time jobs. Whilst all urgent prayers will be prayed immediately they may not appear on the site for a couple of days.

All requests will be by computer, all members are volunteers who give their time freely, please don’t expect replies other than the Lords, as he is far better equipped than we ever can be. The majority of prayers will be displayed on the site for up to two weeks, thus reaching a far greater praying fellowship. Should you wish to extend this period please re-apply when the two weeks are up. We hold the right to edit prayers prior to displaying them on the site. Those not displayed on the site will be prayed over daily and on group nights.

We welcome new members to pray with us. No need to travel miles to join a group, a computer is all you need and a christian commitment to pray regularly for those in need. It’s our promise to pray for all requests.
